Dave's ailing elbow cleared up in '68 and the lefthander developed into one of the American League's best hurlers.  The southpaw led the Orioles with 5 shutouts and 18 complete games pitched.  Dave hurled a 2 hitter in his A.L. pitching premiere.

Jim is known as being one of the surest fielders in baseball.  He can dig the tough shots out and make them look easy.  A University of Southern California graduate, Jim compiled a .310 mark at Binghamton in '50 and was brought up to the Majors after a fine year at San Francisco in '51.
